I finally found the solution to all the giant armholes that come in women's clothes ordered online - order from the boys' department! This is a boys size 10 and fits great (I'm 5'2" and 112lbs and usually wear a small). I love that it's 100% cotton, which seems harder to find in women's clothes these days. I do think it's a little pricey for $20 but I also think it will be an evergreen staple in my wardrobe so I'm happy to have it.

This is and looks like a good looking, high quality vest with white striped trim, ribbed hem, and a design knitted into the fabric around the arm opening. The “knitting” is well done! It is 100% cotton so it is very comfortable and thick enough to add warmth. We did not get it for a school uniform although it would be well suited to that. We got it for a comfortable way for our picky dresser to dress up for church and holidays. No objections voiced so far! Even if he wears a knitted shirt underneath, it will still look sharp. It can be machine washed and the tag says it should be hung to dry.It has the typical washing instructions and content tags but, in addition, It has a tag you could use a sharpie to put the child’s name of if they were wearing to school. Very practical way to avoid loss.
